Residents of Liberty and Dumbarton districts blocked the main road from Discovery Bay to Dumbarton, St Ann, this morning (Monday) in protest over poor road conditions., The road block was staged beside the play field and community centre at Liberty Hill where residents used a chain and tied across the road between two utility posts. The residents and some motorists who were supporting them sat nearby occasionally calling out the reason for their protests. Some of them carried placards. Motorists going to and coming from Brown’s Town, via Discovery Bay were severely inconvenienced. Police cleared the roadblock before noon.
